With a 2.9 mm working distance and 0.60 NA, it delivers high-resolution phase contrast imaging of live, unstained cells through the walls of culture flasks, multi-well plates, and Petri dishes. Beyond phase contrast (PH2), it performs equally well in brightfield, DIC, PlasDIC, and fluorescence — making it one of the most versatile objectives in the Zeiss portfolio.
