The Techniquip PROLUX series of LED fiber optic illuminators establishes a new standard in high-intensity illumination. Engineered with a proprietary high-energy optical design, the PROLUX exceeds the output of traditional 150-watt halogen reflector-style illuminators while eliminating lamp replacement costs entirely.

Featuring advanced heat pipe cooling technology, the PROLUX delivers maintenance-free operation with an LED life expectancy of 25,000–50,000 hours and reduces power consumption by 50–80% compared to halogen equivalents. Constant color temperature ensures consistent results in photomicroscopy without repeated white balance correction.

The PROLUX accepts virtually all existing light guides and fiber optic cables, making it a seamless drop-in upgrade for most systems. Available in 3200K, 4500K, and 5500K color temperatures with worldwide power operation (90–250VAC, 50/60 Hz). Custom spectral outputs available upon request.
