SCHOTT KL 300 LED Cold Light Source

The SCHOTT KL 300 LED is a compact, fan-less fiber optic cold light source engineered as a direct, maintenance-free replacement for conventional 30-watt halogen illuminators. Delivering up to 80 lumens at a stable 5600K daylight color temperature, the KL 300 LED provides consistent, heat-free illumination ideal for stereo microscopy, macroscopy, routine inspection, and educational applications.

Its integrated LED engine is rated for 50,000+ operating hours with no bulb replacements required. Fan-less convection cooling ensures completely silent, vibration-free operation — ideal for sensitive biological or industrial samples. Continuous electronic dimming from 0–100% maintains constant color temperature throughout the full intensity range.

The unit accepts light guides up to 6mm OD (5mm active bundle max) and can be operated standalone or mounted on a standard microscope stand or pillar. Universal power supply (100–240VAC, 50/60 Hz) with international clip plug system supports worldwide operation.
