The Schott EasyLED Ringlight System (600.200) is a professional-grade LED ring illuminator for stereo microscopes — delivering homogeneous, shadow-free daylight illumination through 45 high-brightness LEDs with 0–100% continuous dimming, a rugged anodized metal housing, and a wide 55–135mm working distance range. A compact, reliable alternative to fiber optic illumination systems.

KEY FEATURES

  • 45 high-brightness LEDs at ~5600K daylight color temperature — nearly constant color temperature maintained throughout the full dimming range
  • 30,000-hour LED lifespan with 0–100% continuous dimming, separate on/off switch, and DC output power supply (no flickering)
  • Wide working distance range: 55–135mm — maximum illuminance 90 klx at 75mm WD
  • Silent, vibration-free operation — insensitive to movements and vibrations, no fan noise or mechanical interference
  • Rugged black anodized metal housing with lightweight design and thin, flexible LED bundles
  • 66mm I.D. fits most stereo microscopes; adapters available for 58mm and 60mm objectives

Product Overview

The Schott EasyLED 600.200 is the standard version of Schott's EasyLED ringlight system — a next-generation LED ring light that breaks new ground for high-efficiency output in a compact footprint. Unlike cheap plastic LED ring lights, the EasyLED 600.200 is built in rugged anodized metal housing for long-term reliability in demanding laboratory and industrial environments. Forty-five high-brightness LEDs deliver homogeneous, shadow-free illumination at approximately 5600K daylight color temperature, with nearly constant color temperature maintained throughout the full 0–100% dimming range — critical for color-accurate inspection and imaging. The DC output power supply eliminates the flickering that can affect image quality with AC-powered illuminators. The wide working distance range of 55–135mm accommodates a broad range of stereo microscope configurations, with a maximum illuminance of 90 klx at 75mm working distance. Silent, vibration-free operation and insensitivity to external vibrations ensure no interference with sensitive imaging or measurement. The 66mm I.D. fits most stereo microscopes directly; adapters are available for 58mm and 60mm objectives. If you don’t have bench space for a traditional fiber optic illuminator or want simple, reliable LED illumination, the EasyLED 600.200 is an excellent choice. Need segment control and higher brightness? Consider the EasyLED Plus 600.300.
