Schott A08620 Universal Fiber Optic Ringlight 47–62mm Vertical Exit

The Schott A08620 is a universal fiber optic ringlight for stereo microscopes with 47mm to 62mm objective diameters — distinguished from the standard A08600 by its vertical exit fiber bundle configuration. Where a standard ringlight exits the bundle at an angle from the side of the ring body, the A08620's vertical exit routes the fiber bundle straight upward, keeping it out of the operator's working area and preventing the bundle from interfering with specimen manipulation, tool access, or camera positioning around the microscope. This makes the A08620 particularly well-suited for tight workspaces, precision assembly and rework stations, surgical training setups, and any application where lateral bundle clearance is limited or where an unobstructed working area around the specimen is critical. The annular ring design delivers homogeneous, shadow-free illumination around the full circumference of the specimen. Compatible with Schott KL series and ColdVision cold light sources.
