The Schott 155.205 is a double flexible fiber optic light guide from Schott's KL series accessory line — the dual-arm companion to the single-arm 155.100 and 155.104. A single KL series cold light source connection at the input splits into two independently positionable flexible output arms, enabling balanced, two-point illumination of the specimen from a single light source without requiring a second illuminator or Y-splitter accessory. The two arms can be positioned symmetrically on either side of the specimen for even bilateral illumination that reduces shadows and improves overall uniformity, or positioned asymmetrically to create directional contrast from two controlled angles simultaneously.
