Product Overview

The Olympus XLFluor 2x/340 is a specialized macro-fluorescence objective engineered for low-magnification, wide-field fluorescence imaging with exceptional UV transmission. With a numerical aperture of 0.14 and an ultra-long working distance of 19.8–21.0 mm, it provides generous clearance for large or complex specimens including live animal preparations and thick tissue samples. Its semi-apochromat (fluorite) optical design delivers excellent fluorescence performance across blue, green, and UV (365nm) excitation wavelengths, while also transmitting in the 340nm and 700–1000nm ranges. The M34x1 mounting thread and 65mm parfocal distance make it compatible with Olympus macro-fluorescence systems.
