The Olympus WHSZ 30x adjustable eyepiece provides the highest eyepiece magnification in the Olympus SZ stereo eyepiece lineup, delivering 30x magnification with a field number of 7 for maximum detail resolution on the stereo platform. At 30x eyepiece magnification, the total magnification of the stereo system is tripled compared to a standard 10x eyepiece — for example, on an SZX10 at 1x zoom, a 30x eyepiece yields 30x total magnification, and at maximum zoom the total magnification scales proportionally, enabling the finest specimen detail to be resolved without changing the zoom body or objective. The narrower FN7 field of view is the natural trade-off for the higher magnification, focusing the view on a smaller but more highly magnified area of the specimen. The WHSZ 30x is compatible with the widest range of Olympus SZ series platforms — from the classic SZ30/SZ40/SZ60/SZ1145 to the modern SZ51, SZ61, SZX7, SZX9, SZX10, and SZX12 — making it a versatile high-magnification eyepiece across the entire SZ family.
