Olympus WH15X Eyepiece - 30mm

The Olympus WH15x widefield eyepiece provides 15x magnification for use with Olympus BX, IX, and MX series microscopes equipped with 30mm eyetubes. Swapping from a standard 10x to a 15x eyepiece increases the total magnification of the system by 50% without requiring an objective change — for example, a 40x objective paired with a 15x eyepiece yields 600x total magnification versus 400x with a 10x eyepiece. This makes the WH15x a cost-effective way to extend the magnification range of an existing microscope system, particularly useful in applications where intermediate magnification steps between objectives are needed, or where the highest available objective magnification combined with a 15x eyepiece is required to resolve fine specimen detail. The widefield design maintains a comfortable, well-corrected field of view at 15x.
