Olympus ULWD CD PLAN 40X Phase Contrast Objective with Correction Collar

The Olympus ULWD CDPlan 40X Phase Contrast (1-LP157) is an ultra-long working distance objective designed specifically for inverted microscopy on the Olympus IMT2, CK2, CK30, and CK40 microscope series. The extended working distance of 6.62–8.18mm — adjustable via the correction collar — allows imaging through the thick plastic or glass bottoms of standard culture flasks, multi-well plates, and Petri dishes without compromising phase contrast image quality. The correction collar compensates for variations in vessel bottom thickness, ensuring optimal phase ring alignment and maximum contrast across different culture vessel types. At 0.50 NA and 40X, it provides the resolution and depth of field ideal for routine live cell observation, cell morphology assessment, and culture monitoring. RMS thread with 160mm tube length for compatibility with the finite optical systems of the CK and IMT2 series. Excellent, as-new condition. Manufactured in Japan to Olympus’s exacting standards.
