The Olympus U-TTBI tilting and telescoping ergonomic binocular head is the premium observation head solution for Olympus BX series microscopes, designed to address the musculoskeletal strain associated with prolonged microscope use in clinical, pathology, and research settings. Unlike standard fixed-angle binocular heads, the U-TTBI allows the eyetube angle to be tilted to match the user’s natural head and neck position — eliminating the need to bend forward or crane the neck to reach a fixed eyepiece height. The telescoping mechanism independently adjusts the eyetube height, accommodating users of different statures and allowing the microscope to be used at a wider range of bench heights without compromising posture.
