The Olympus U-RFL-T is the dedicated power supply for the Olympus 100W mercury arc lamphouse (U-LH100HG), designed exclusively for use with the 100W mercury burner. It provides stable, regulated electrical current to the mercury arc lamp, ensuring consistent lamp output intensity, reliable ignition, and safe operation throughout the lamp's service life. The U-RFL-T is not interchangeable with power supplies for other wattages — it is specifically engineered for the 100W mercury burner and must be used with the corresponding U-LH100HG lamphouse. The 100W mercury arc system delivers higher excitation intensity than the 50W system, making it the preferred choice for demanding fluorescence applications requiring maximum brightness — including weak fluorophore detection, high-magnification fluorescence, and applications using narrow bandpass filter sets that transmit limited excitation light.
