🔧 Product Description

The Olympus U-POFW is a 4-position manual filter wheel accepting 32mm filters and optical elements, with two of the four positions featuring a rotatable mount. The filter wheel allows up to four 32mm optical elements to be installed simultaneously and switched into the optical path by rotating the wheel to the desired position. The two rotatable positions are particularly useful for polarized light microscopy applications — a waveplate, compensator, or analyzer installed in a rotatable position can be angularly adjusted without removing it from the optical path, enabling precise retardation or extinction angle control during observation. The two fixed positions accommodate standard 32mm filters such as neutral density filters, color correction filters, or barrier filters that do not require angular adjustment. Catalog number 9-U505.
