Olympus U-PMTVC Camera Adapter

The Olympus U-PMTVC camera adapter provides a phototube-based interface for attaching video cameras to Olympus BX and SZX series microscopes, as well as the legacy BH2 platform. Unlike C-mount adapters that connect directly to the camera port, the U-PMTVC works in conjunction with a photo eyepiece to relay the image to the camera — making it well-suited for video cameras with standard 16mm (2/3") or 11mm (1/2") diagonal sensors. Cameras with smaller sensors can also be used, though with a reduced field of view. The photo eyepiece selection determines the effective sensor coverage, giving users flexibility to optimize the image circle for their specific camera.
