The Olympus U-DP1XC is a 1x C-mount camera adapter for the Olympus U-DP dual camera port, providing a direct 1x (unity magnification) optical coupling between the U-DP port and a C-mount camera. At 1x magnification, the adapter introduces no reduction or enlargement — the image delivered to the camera sensor corresponds directly to the full native magnification of the microscope objective and eyepiece combination, without any additional scaling. This is the preferred choice when the camera sensor is large enough to capture the full microscope image circle at native magnification, or when accurate pixel-to-specimen size calibration at the stated objective magnification is required. The U-DP1XC attaches directly to the U-DP dual port and accepts any standard C-mount camera. For applications requiring a wider field of view on the camera sensor, reduction adapters (0.5x, 0.35x) are also available for the U-DP system.
