The Olympus SZX2-ILLTQ is a quad position LED transmitted light illumination base for the SZX2 series stereo microscopes, featuring a four-position turret that allows the user to load up to four illumination cartridges and switch between them with a simple rotation. This enables rapid, repeatable switching between brightfield (standard, high, and low intensity), oblique illumination (standard, high, and low), darkfield, polarized illumination, and a shutter position — all without any tools or realignment. The LED light source provides consistent, energy-efficient illumination with long service life. The 32mm post provides a stable mounting interface to the SZX2 stand. Filter cartridges are not included and must be purchased separately — please contact us for current cartridge availability and pricing. Requires the U-ACAD4515 AC power supply (sold separately). New condition, manufactured in Japan to Olympus's exacting standards.
