The TLB3000’s tiltable and sliding mirror design provides a generous work area and flexible illumination angle, making it particularly well-suited for aquatic specimens in dishes or tanks, large tissue preparations, and dissection workflows where standard fixed bases are too restrictive. The 150W fiber optic source delivers high-intensity, cool transmitted illumination without the heat of conventional halogen bases. The SZX16’s 16.4:1 zoom ratio and 0.3 NA deliver exceptional resolution from whole organisms down to individual cell structures.
