Product Overview

The Olympus IX51 is a stable, compact inverted microscope platform that delivers research-grade optical performance with practical convenience and excellent cost efficiency. Its inverted design places objectives below the stage, providing unrestricted access to living specimens in culture dishes, flasks, and multi-well plates. Four Plan Fluor objectives cover the full range of routine and advanced cell culture workflows: the 4x for wide-field survey, 10x phase for standard monitoring, and 20x and 40x long working distance phase objectives with correction collars for high-resolution imaging through thick culture vessels. The 6-position fluorescence filter turret accommodates three included cubes — Blue (DAPI), Green (TRITC), and UV (DAPI) — enabling immediate multicolor fluorescence imaging. The 100W mercury lamphouse and dedicated power supply deliver the intensity required for demanding fluorescence applications. The left-side camera port allows direct attachment of a digital camera or imaging system. This system ships complete with all accessories and is in excellent condition.
