At 0.55 numerical aperture, this condenser delivers good resolution while maintaining the extended working distance essential for inverted microscopy applications. The condenser features 5 open positions that accept DIC prisms or phase rings (sold separately), enabling multiple imaging modes including DIC (Differential Interference Contrast) and phase contrast microscopy. This versatile design allows customization for specific applications by installing the appropriate DIC prisms or phase rings.
