The Olympus CX43-RFAB is an incident-light (epi-fluorescence) B-excitation attachment designed specifically for the Olympus CX43 biological microscope series. It enables fluorescence observation directly on the CX43 platform without requiring a traditional transmitted-light fluorescent condenser, making it a cost-effective and space-efficient solution for adding fluorescence capability to an existing CX43 system. The RFAB uses blue (B) excitation to illuminate specimens from above via the epi-fluorescence optical path, exciting fluorophores such as GFP, FITC, and Alexa Fluor 488.
