The Olympus CKX41 is a purpose-built inverted microscope for cell culture observation, combining a compact footprint with the optical performance of Olympus's Universal Infinity System 2 (UIS2) optics. Its inverted design provides open, unrestricted access to culture dishes, flasks, and multi-well plates without disturbing living specimens. Four objectives cover the full range of tissue culture workflows: the 4x brightfield for wide-field specimen survey, and 10x, 20x, and 40x long working distance phase contrast objectives for high-contrast imaging of unstained cells through standard culture vessel walls. The high-angle tilting trinocular head is ergonomically designed for comfortable routine visual checks, while the camera port enables straightforward digital documentation and imaging integration.
