Olympus CKX41 Inverted Fluorescence & Phase Contrast Microscope

The Olympus CKX41 is a purpose-built inverted microscope for cell culture observation and fluorescence imaging, combining a compact footprint with the optical performance of Olympus's Universal Infinity System 2 (UIS2) optics. Its inverted design provides open access to culture dishes, flasks, and multi-well plates without disturbing living specimens. Four objectives cover the full range of tissue culture workflows: the 4x brightfield for wide-field survey, and 10x, 20x, and 40x long working distance phase contrast objectives for high-contrast imaging of unstained cells through standard culture vessels. The high-angle tilting trinocular head is ergonomically designed for comfortable visual checks and simultaneous camera documentation. Two fluorescence filter cubes — Blue (FITC) and Green (TRITC) — enable immediate dual-channel fluorescence imaging including GFP and TRITC-labeled specimens. The 100W mercury lamphouse and dedicated power supply deliver reliable fluorescence excitation intensity.
