The X-Cite 120 delivers broad-spectrum output from UV through visible wavelengths, enabling excitation of all common fluorophores including DAPI, FITC, GFP, TRITC, Texas Red, Cy5, and others. The metal halide lamp provides consistent, stable illumination with excellent color rendering and minimal intensity fluctuation—critical for quantitative fluorescence measurements and time-lapse imaging.

The BX-URA2 fluorescence illuminator features a 6-position filter cube turret with rotatable front, enabling rapid switching between fluorescence channels without disturbing the specimen.
