The KR-851 is a NIST traceable stage micrometer featuring a 1mm scale divided into 100 equal divisions of 0.01mm each, numbered 0.0 through 1.0. It is used to calibrate the field of view and pixel size of microscope imaging systems — an essential step for any quantitative measurement, image analysis, or metrology workflow. The chrome deposition ruling provides high-contrast, durable division lines on precision optical glass with a 20/10 surface quality rating and flatness of 2 waves or better. Centering is held within 0.0005" and overall pattern tolerance is ±0.0002" (0.005mm) — meeting the requirements of the most demanding laboratory and industrial calibration applications. Includes 10 points of calibration (e.g., 0 to 0.1mm, 0 to 0.2mm, through 0 to 1.0mm); additional calibration points are available at extra cost. Mounted on a standard 1" × 3" microscope slide format, 0.110" thick. Made in the USA.
