🔧 Product Description
The Nikon ED Plan 1.5X objective (MNH44150) is an auxiliary objective designed to extend the upper magnification range of Nikon's SMZ stereozoom microscope series. By threading onto the front of the objective turret, it multiplies the zoom body's native magnification by 1.5X — giving you greater resolving power for fine surface detail, small components, or intricate biological specimens without sacrificing the ergonomic benefits of a stereo microscope.
The ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass construction is the key differentiator here. Standard auxiliary objectives often introduce color fringing at higher magnifications; the ED Plan design suppresses chromatic aberration across the visible spectrum, delivering flat, sharp, and color-true images even at the top of the zoom range. This unit is in excellent condition with flawless optics — no haze, scratches, or coating damage.
