The Nikon S Plan Fluor ELWD 20× Objective is a precision microscope objective engineered for applications where extended working distance and broad spectral performance are essential. With 20× magnification and a numerical aperture (NA) of 0.45, this ELWD (Extra-Long Working Distance) lens delivers crisp, high-contrast imaging across a wide range of microscopy techniques.

Unlike standard objectives that sacrifice working distance for higher magnification, the ELWD design extends the focal space to approximately 6.9–8.2 mm, allowing room for thicker samples, culture vessels, or accessory probes without compromising image quality.
