The Nikon 2× CFI Plan Achromat UW Objective is a precision microscope objective designed to provide wide-field, flat, and high-clarity imaging for routine microscopy and inspection tasks. Its 2× magnification and a numerical aperture (NA) of 0.06 deliver a broad field of view, making this objective ideal for sample overview, slide surveys, and general observation before moving to higher magnifications.

Part of Nikon’s CFI Plan Achromat series, this objective uses advanced optical correction to ensure flat-field performance with minimized chromatic and spherical aberrations across the visible spectrum — resulting in consistently sharp, distortion-free imagery throughout the entire field of view. With a working distance of approximately 7.5 mm, there is ample space above the sample for additional tools, access to manipulators, or accessory equipment during imaging.
