The Nikon CFI Plan Apo 20x/0.75 is one of the most widely used research objectives in the Nikon CFI lineup, combining apochromatic optical correction with flat field performance at a magnification that balances field of view and resolving power for tissue-level and cell-level imaging. The apochromatic design corrects chromatic aberration across three wavelengths and spherical aberration across two, producing images with exceptional sharpness, contrast, and color fidelity across the visible spectrum — critical for multi-channel fluorescence microscopy where consistent focus across DAPI, GFP, and far-red channels is essential. The Plan correction ensures the image is flat and sharp from center to edge, making this objective ideal for widefield tiling, stitching, and large-area imaging workflows.
