The Dolan-Jenner EEG2823M is a 23-inch self-supporting bifurcated dual gooseneck light guide designed for use with the MI-150 and MI-LED fiber optic illuminators. Starting from the light source with a 0.28" (7mm) bundle diameter, the guide transitions at a 45° incline before branching into two arms — each with a 0.20" (5mm) bundle diameter — that diverge at an angle specifically designed to straddle any stereo microscope without interfering with focusing or specimen manipulation. The opposed-angle illumination geometry ensures a consistently illuminated field with minimal shadow obstruction across the full working range. With the included slide-lock LH759 focusing lenses, the system delivers up to 40,000 ft-candles of focused illumination at a 3-inch working distance — ideal for high-magnification work at 120X and above. Lenses can be rapidly adjusted or removed entirely for diffuse, shadow-free illumination. Compact, quiet, and extremely versatile. Made in the USA.
