The Diagnostic Instruments D10BXF provides a direct mechanical interface between Olympus microscope phototube ports and Nikon F-mount cameras, enabling high-resolution photomicrography without the need for a dedicated scientific camera. At 1.0x, the adapter preserves the native image magnification, making it well-suited for accurate documentation, measurement, and publication-quality imaging. The adapter mounts to the Olympus phototube port after removal of the U-SPT phototube on BX, CX, and AX Provis series, or directly to the back port of the BX U-DPT double port, the CKX series, IX2 series (IX51, IX71, IX81), and GX51/71 inverted metallurgical systems.
