For motorized focus control, the Z-board is installed; for autofocus operation, the AF control board is installed in its place. Only one of these boards can be installed at a time — installing both simultaneously may result in malfunction. When switching from the Z-board to the AF control board, the on-board DIP switches on the AF control board must be set to match the Z-board settings to ensure correct operation.
